Safeguarding and Child Protection

Pupil safeguarding and welfare is the highest priority at our school.

  • The Link Governor for Safeguarding is - Mr Andy Patrick
  • Mr Walker (Executive Head Teacher) is also a trained Designated Safeguarding Lead

What to do if you feel a child is being abused or at risk of abuse

If you have a safeguarding concern regarding a child, please don't hesitate to contact our Safeguarding Team at the school. You can do this by:

We are always available between the hours of 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday during term time. If you contact us outside of these hours, we will get back to you as soon as we can.

If you are concerned that a child is at immediate risk of harm, please call 999 or report a crime on 101.

For any other urgent concerns about a child, and you are unable to contact us at the school, please contact the Nottinghamshire Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) on 0300 500 80 80. You can also contact this number if you wish to make an anonymous referral regarding a child. Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP)

CEOP is a command of the National Crime Agency, and is dedicated to tackling the sexual abuse and exploitation of children and young people. CEOP is here to help young people (up to age 18) who have been forced or tricked into taking part in sexual activity with anyone online or in the real world. We also offer advice and links to support in response to other online problems young people might face, such as cyberbullying or hacking.
