Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers to come and help on school trips or to provide some extra reading opportunities for our children. Again, please contact the school office if you feel you have got the time to give.

Please be aware that it is the policy of this school that all volunteers are required to undergo safer recruitment checks, including a criminal background check, provided by the school. You will also be required to undergo induction and training. Our Volunteers Policy below provides more details.

Student Placements

We work closely with West Notts College and The Joseph Whitaker School to provide placements for students who need experience of working in schools. We also work closely with the East Midlands Teacher Training Partnership to provide placements for Trainee Teachers.
